Oh Gosh!! I had hopes prior to watching the 6th installment. Now, i just feel it should be titled Harry Potter and Half Plot Prince. Ho Ho Ho. Dont get me wrong. I still Love Harry Potter but the 6th movie, just aint right. Feel empty after watching em. This may sounds harsh, but personally, HBP is the worst of all.
No doubt, the movie was visually stunning with its CGI and cinematographic style, but it failed on the story plot department.
It failed to bring the tense, as depicted in JKR's book, in the world of wizarding community and the muggle. Opening scene between the muggle Prime Minister and new Minister for Magic Rufus Scrimgeour was left out (which i think is vital in telling how tense and worried the wizarding world was), and was replaced by showing those dark clouds flying on the streets of London.
Instead of building Voldemort's plot and the quest of finding Horcrux, more were given on romance and relationship of the Hogwarts students. The plotlines were barely developed. Great dramatic plots didnt make it into the film.
Two major things which i didn't like were, the scene after Dumbledore was killed and the ending itself. The Chaotic panic and fighting scenes on Hogwarts were not included. After killing Dumbledore, they simply walked away and suddenly, puff, they were in the forest running away? Those fighting scenes would add some climatic feelings to the movie.
No funeral for Dumbledore? Oh come on!! Dumbledore was the greatest wizard of all (a major character in Harry Potter). His after-death scene was simply insulting to this great wizard (to me at least). JKR depicted in such awesome and beautiful ways, where all the wizarding community gave their last respects to Dumbledore. Character from Goblets of Fire made their appearance too.
I thought Harry Potter was supposed to be petrified by Dumbledore prior to his death? And since when wizards could fly? I thought only Voldemort could and the rest could just apperate? No biggie though on wizards could fly.
Oh! Gosh..
Basically, the movie was interesting in the beginning. You kept asking what would happen.. and.. and... and.. and.. errkk.. that was it?
I understand that it was hardd to make HBP, since a 600-page novel had to end up as a 200-page script. But ROTK managed to bring the climatic and intertwined plots as intended. And yeah, ROTK was a very descriptive story indeed.
Harry Potter fans might get a bit upset.
Those who didnt read HBP, might question couple of things. I had to explain to my brother, since he couldn't find the connecting plots.
I hope the finale (Deathly Hallows - which will be made into 2 movies) would not be dissapointing.

I think I live in a totally different world with everybody else!! I didn't enjoy transformer ROTF (even sleep in the cinema), and HP? I just simply don't bother! (Eh! back in university I also fell aslept while watching HP with my friends) hehe...yeah i know I'm CRUEL.

Bro pernah dengar kisah si dajjal the arrivals...kalau pegi youtube taip the arrivals..kisah bagaimana sekumpulan manusia sedang giat mempengaruhi dunia sejak 1300 tahun dahulu untuk bersiap sedia dengan kedatangan dajjal..salah satu melalui filem dan aku yakin benar Harry potter ini adalah salah satu propaganda geng2 ini untuk meracuni memikiran anak2 se dunia...tapi aku layan juga cerita ni sekadar nak tahu macam mana diaorang nak main minda kita...

Alright ni pandangan kecik aku yer.. tapi terpaksa jawab panjang sket la yer sebab kalau jawab pendek rasanya tak cover kot. tee hee
Video ni kalau tgk kena tgk dengan minda yang terbuka. Minda yang terbuka maksud aku macam ni. Apa yang diterangkan "mungkin benar", tapi "mungkin benar" tidak menjadikannya 100% benar. Walaupun bagus, kandungan video ni bercampur aduk dengan ajaran islam (sebab video ni bukan dikhususkan kepada orang islam semata-mata)
We should adhere to islamic teachings, that is more important and prepare like the dajal is coming tomorrow (or better yet like we are going to die tomorrow).
The idea is good, to educate, but it also contains full of soft porn. I also believe that "Matlamat tidak menghalalkan cara" There are whole lots of better references of many islamic and ummah sites that would give clearer explanations when it comes to Dajjal. The constant music and a lot of images which should not be put in videos which were supposed to be viewed by muslims, plus soft porn = matlamat tidak menghalalkan cara = make me find it somehow not to be credible as it is not 100% align to islamic teachings.
Now, back to Harry Porter. Tak perlu pandang jauh bro, hiburan Astro, Akademi Fantasia, plus2 bermacam-macam lagi. Paling penting dalam pupuk kesedaran anak-anak untuk terangkan secara berkhemah, apa yang baik dan apa yang buruk dalam perkara yang berlaku dalam dunia sekarang agar anak-anak sekurang-kurangnya faham sebab cabaran ni semua terlalu banyak ada di sekeliling.
berbalik kepada Harry Potter.
Buruk : Harry Potter = wizards and wizardy merupakan sesuatu yang bercanggah di dalam Islam
Baik : Harry Potter = kreativiti, penulis berjaya bagaimana dengan kesungguhan dan bakatnya terserlahnya, which leads to people pushing themselves in creativity from props to err all those creative aspects la kan = we should use this as example to strive as better muslim in doing daily works since that is an ibadah.
Problem dengan society islam di dalam Malaysia, with have so many ekstrem ustaz that judge everything should be haram and halal when in fact we should have more Prostazs that aim on akhirat and also balance to fulfill(do our best) our duty menunaikan amanah as Khalifah di muka bumi.
The way i see Harry Potter, is like the way i see Prince of Eygyt, the way i see the Passion of Christ and understanding Book of Genesis and its relevance to Al-Quran Teachings.
And understanding all these, we should strive to do the best in going thru kehidupan sehari-harian, sebab kerja dan tanggungjawab kita sebagai Khalifah merupakan satu ibadah yang amat-amat dituntut.
Yang baik itu datangnya dari ALLAH dan yang buruk atau pendapat tak elok tuu datangnya dari aku
