Illustration Friday - Theme : Wide & Rattan Fairy : )


This week IF theme is : Wide. Frankly i am a bit lazy since i am swarmed with works. But i have promised myself that i ll try to make at least an illo per week. I am not going to submit this work on IF. Anyway, here it is. Wide : "Beauty" is just happy to be married to "Mr. Short and Wide". :) The truth is, Beauty is skin deep. It takes more than just a good appearance to win over someone's heart. Appearance is good for starter, but later, the rest will take its place.



I was "YMing" with Mangosteenskin when it struck me to do my own style of Fairy. Hehe. It would be nice too to see if others would come up with their own version of fairy. While chatting, we were having fun of how a fairy might be look-like according to a certain artist style. Well, to see Mangosteenskin Fairies - See Here (Petal) and here (Pickle.) Hehe (chuckle.) Well, my fairy is a Rattan Fairy. Unlike other fairy, she does not fly. She just glides on the forest floor, leaving a trail of Rattan butterflies. She has no wings but tentacle-like-feature in her back. 8 of them. They keep moving you know. (Sort of Dr. Octavious in Spiderman 2.) But dont get trick by her sweet look. Annoy her and her tentacles will "whooposh" you. Sure "berbirat." Haha. You can call her Miss Jha'leen as in "Jalin satu, jalin dua..jalin tiga." Well, she is on her way to meet Petal and Pickle. She brings her favourite rattan beg too. I guess they are on their usual shopping spree thingy. hehe.

    Hehe When i look at your fairy, i immediately click dah that you would call her Rattan fairy and when i read through your blog.. its correct! My instinct is good ah. haha. I like your rattan fairy. She's beautiful and it does pukau me. How come is that eh? hehaha. I guess because she is slim and her baju lawa la.its green. i loveee greeennn~

    petal & pickle masih kecil. kalau diorang ikut miss jha'leen pegi shopping sure merengek2 minta beli aiskrim. hehe.

    kenapa x kasi itu mr. & mrs. wide berpegangan tangan? macam malu2 pulak. hehe. saya imagine diorang nyanyi lagu hail amir & uji rashid sambil bersiar2 kat taman.

    Rattan fairy tu sekali pandang, macam Medusa, salah satu makhluk mistik Greek. =) Dua kali pandang pulak, macam watak ibu dalam Adam's Family. Tapi cun lah, as usual! =)

    Huhu, speaking of Medusa, dulu rizal memang fanatik giler kalau main2 game yang berkaitan dengan Greek Methodology mcm Zeus atau Age of Mythology. Hehe.. I guess, rizal memang suka benda2 mcm mights and magic, legends and witchcraft and wizadry, and such stuffs kot.
